Dean and I moved to Grendon 5 months ago now, and we haven't regretted a single moment. This quiet Northamptonshire village has opened its heart to us and let us in.
We enjoy the peace and quiet, the only noises we hear are the sounds of the dawn chorus, welcoming in the new day.
We have explored the variety of walks that the countryside offers, a favourite being a two mile walk across to Castle Ashby, where we inevitably stop for refreshments in the Buttery! A real treat for us and the dogs, who are treated quite royally, being given a bowl of water and a handful of biscuits.
Most impressive I think are the spectacular sunsets that we are given most evenings!
